Join our team as a Legal Intern and help us understand and tackle cancer!
We are seeking a motivated Legal Intern to work closely with our Head of Legal, providing day-to-day support with both legal and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for students who want hands-on experience in contract management and legal operations within a dynamic, business-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Legal in daily tasks, including scheduling, follow-ups, and preparation of meeting materials.
- Provide administrative support to the Legal function, such as organizing files, maintaining legal records, and managing documentation workflows.
- Support the implementation and setup of our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, including data entry, template structuring, and process documentation.
- Assist with contract management activities, including tracking contract status, maintaining contract registers, monitoring key dates, and ensuring proper approvals and filing.
- Conduct targeted legal research to support contract drafting, risk assessments, and internal guidance materials.
- Help draft, review, and format standard agreements (e.g., NDAs, service agreements) and related legal correspondence under supervision.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ongoing legal studies (minimum 3rd semester).
- Strong interest in contract law, legal operations, and in-house legal work.
- Working proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in handling documents and data.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working with digital tools and systems; prior experience with CLM or document management systems is a plus.
