Join our team as a Junior System Administrator and help us understand and tackle cancer!

As our Junior System Administrator you will be primarily responsible for ensuring we have the all the software and hardware to work with in an easy to use and secure way, and solve any problems when that's not the case by supporting the users, or managing our service providers. We are working primarily in our Budapest office, but we have colleagues at remote locations as well - including our London office.

The position is fully onsite at Budapest, but allows for flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Make sure our office IT infrastructure (networking, conference AV, CCTV, RFID, printers, etc.) is always available and working

• Make sure our lab always has power and networking so critical devices are always online

• Manage and keep in order the IT inventory

• Communication with our IT related vendors, device purchasing

• Microsoft M365 system administration (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange etc.)

• Application administration: Jira, Confluence, Zoom, Slack, Miro

• Remote desktop support with Teamviewer

• Help and cooperate in the IT related projects

• Keep our users happy, support them if they experience any issues with the above
  

Requirements

• Experience in desktop support

• Ability to work independently and own issues end-to-end.

• Good problem solving skills

• Hardware and software troubleshooting skills

• Basic network knowledge

• English language skills, written and spoken (must be used daily)

Nice to have

• 1–2-year work experience in IT desktop support

• Microsoft Azure, Entra, Intune basic knowledge

• JIRA & Confluence usage

• MDM device management experience

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in the field of Information Technology
