Life at UiPath
The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.
To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.
Could that be you?
Your Mission
UiPath is the leader in Agentic Automation. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to building the next generation of our automation platform and governance tools. You’ll work closely with a globally distributed team to create intuitive, performant, and reusable user interfaces - including a modern developer-focused automation canvas and shared UI component libraries.
What You’ll Do at UiPath
We’re looking for an engineer who pairs strong technical skills with product thinking, communicates effectively across regions, and takes initiative rather than waiting for direction.
Build Exceptional User Experiences: Develop high-quality, performant, accessible UI features using modern front-end technologies.
Think Like a Product Builder: Partner with PM and Design to understand user problems, propose solutions, and help shape requirements - not just implement them.
Collaborate Across Geos: Work closely with engineers and stakeholders in different time zones, driving clarity, sharing context proactively, and ensuring alignment across teams.
Contribute to Scalable Architecture: Help evolve our UI component library, design system implementation, and front-end architecture for long-term maintainability.
Own Features End-to-End: Break down ambiguous problems, propose options, drive discussions, and deliver high-quality solutions autonomously.
Innovate with AI + Automation: Work with platform and AI teams to bring intelligent, agent-driven capabilities into the front end and improve developer workflows.
Champion Quality and Best Practices: Write well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and help elevate engineering standards within the team.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
6+ years of experience building modern web applications with strong attention to performance, responsiveness, and usability.
Strong Front-End Skills: Expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern build tools. Experience with component libraries or design systems is a plus.
Product Sense: Ability to think beyond tickets - understand user needs, evaluate trade-offs, and contribute ideas that influence product direction.
Full-Stack Familiarity: Experience consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and collaborating effectively with backend/cloud teams.
Communication & Collaboration: Comfortable working in distributed teams, proactively sharing updates, and clarifying requirements across time zones.
Solid CS Fundamentals: Good understanding of algorithms, design patterns, and modern application architecture.
AI Awareness: Experience using AI tools to enhance development productivity and willingness to learn emerging AI-driven patterns.
Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned.
