Life at UiPath

The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.

To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.

Could that be you?

Your mission

We’re expanding our Employee Relations, Compliance and Mobility team and are looking for a proactive Compliance & Mobility Intern to support our global employee compliance and mobility processes. You’ll help the team deliver a consistent, efficient, and people-first experience by supporting day-to-day operations, maintaining accurate documentation and tracking, and partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to keep things running smoothly.
To be successful, you’ll bring a detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven mindset,
strong organizational skills, and a professional approach to working with sensitive information.

About the team
The Compliance & Mobility team helps UiPath grow responsibly by ensuring our HR processes are compliant, consistent, and people-first across the countries where we operate.

Compliance: we support regulatory readiness through strong policy governance, accurate documentation, and audit-ready processes (including privacy and AI considerations in HR tools).

Mobility: we enable smooth global moves and cross-border work by managing relocation and immigration compliance, remote-work frameworks, and business visa support with external vendors. We partner closely with HR, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Finance to deliver timely, reliable outcomes and a seamless employee experience.

Internship start: July 2026

Internship duration: 6 months

Please note that this is a hybrid role in the Bucharest office.

What you'll do at UiPath

  • Support the execution of global Compliance & Mobility operational processes, helping ensure accurate, timely, and consistent delivery.

  • Support background check operations by initiating and tracking checks, coordinating
with Talent Acquisition and screening vendors, and following up on exceptions to ensure timely completion and accurate documentation.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (People Partners, TA, Payroll, Legal, Finance) to
    ensure smooth coordination across functions.

  • Support compliance-related checks and audits (e.g., document completeness, data quality, record organization), ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

  • Contribute to creating and updating process documentation, templates, and
employee-facing guides/FAQs to improve clarity and efficiency.

  • Help maintain and improve trackers, reports, and dashboards (e.g., case volumes,
key deadlines, expirations, SLAs, and process metrics).

  • Provide first-level support for inquiries (triage, routing, and follow-ups) with a focus on excellent employee experience.

  • Handle sensitive data with a high degree of confidentiality, care, and professionalism at all times.

  • Support ad hoc tasks and projects as needed, based on team priorities and manager guidance

What you'll bring to the team

  • Student or recent graduate in Business Administration, HR, Law, or International
Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience/interest).

  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time
    effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with documentation, deadlines, and structured processes.

  • Clear, professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

  • A collaborative, proactive attitude, someone who enjoys improving how things work and bringing new ideas to the table.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and calendar/meeting tools; comfort learning new systems (HRIS, ticketing tools, reporting) is a plus.

  • Advanced English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus

Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned.
