THE ROLE

As the Employee Experience Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our Global People team - helping to ensure that our new team members are integrated into our teams, that our current employees have a fun and fulfilling employee experience, and that our NYC HQ is conducive to productivity, collaboration, and employee well-being. You’ll also closely support our CEO to help operations run smoothly. You’ll be asked to work in the New York Office 5 days Monday-Friday week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Onboarding and Offboarding:

   • Help onboard new team members to help them integrate into our team and company. You’ll play a key role in designing and leading the Onboarding experience for all USA-based employees. You will be one of the most important representatives of our company!

2. Office Management:

   • Oversee the daily operations of the office, vendor relations, and supply inventory. We cater lunch 3 times a week for our NYC team and have a huge kitchen stocked with breakfast, snacks and coffee/drinks.

   • Ensure that the office space is clean, organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.

   • Partner with our IT team to ensure our operations run smoothly. Help troubleshoot where needed.

   • Manage office budgets and expenses effectively.

3. Employee Experience:

   • Support all company-wide meetings. You’ll have an opportunity to influence how we bring people together, how and what we communicate with our team, and how we live up to our values.

   • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention

   • Coordinate employee events, team-building activities, and recognition programs for both NYC-based and fully-remote USA team members.

   • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and empathetic support.

4. Health and Safety:

   • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in compliance with local regulations in partnership with our NYC building management.

5. Administrative Support to our CEO:

   • Provide administrative assistance to our CEO, including scheduling big onsite meetings, calendar support, and travel.

   • Support other Executives and guests when they visit NYC as needed.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working with IT team and tech support is preferred

COMPENSATION

The base salary for this role is expected to be $75,000 - $90,000 per year. In addition, employees at Unit can expect generous benefits and may be eligible for equity. The final offer will be determined by factors including experience level, expertise, and location.
