The Opportunity

Join our Customer Success team as a Summer Intern, where you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting our digital-first customer engagement strategies. This internship is ideal for students eager to explore customer experience, analytics, SaaS, and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced tech environment. You’ll contribute to initiatives that help monitor customer health, enhance engagement, and support renewals—while learning from experienced professionals along the way.

About Customer Success at UserTesting
Customer Success Managers (CSMs) at UserTesting are strategic partners to our clients, focused on ensuring they realize value from our platform. CSMs use data, engagement strategies, and deep product knowledge to help customers succeed and grow. This internship will give you a firsthand look at what it means to be a CSM—from identifying customer needs to collaborating with internal teams and driving business outcomes.

What You’ll Learn and Do

  • Gain exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of a Customer Success Manager, including customer health monitoring, proactive outreach, and renewal support.

  • Assist in tracking key customer metrics like usage trends and engagement indicators to help identify risks or growth opportunities.

  • Help organize account data and contribute to reports that drive customer outreach strategies.

  • Support proactive engagement by monitoring account triggers (e.g., support tickets, renewal timelines) and helping draft outreach messages.

  • Participate in team meetings and shadow CSMs to observe how they manage customer relationships, resolve challenges, and advocate for customer needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Product, and Support on initiatives aimed at improving the overall customer experience.

  • Gather and share insights from customer feedback that help inform product updates and service enhancements.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or related fields).

  • Interest in customer success, SaaS, or the customer experience industry.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Comfortable using spreadsheets or basic data tools; curiosity about using metrics to drive action.

  • Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

  • Candidates located in Georgia - preference for those living in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
