The Finance team plays a crucial role in maintaining Veriff's financial health and stability. We use strategic decision-making to facilitate Veriff's growth while developing innovative financial solutions that align with our mission of creating a safer internet. As a Finance team member, you will help support our data-driven culture by managing the accounts payable process with all stakeholders. Your positivity, knowledge of accounting, and fast “can do” attitude will help find quick solutions to even the most unusual problems in a high-growth start-up life environment.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

• Processing and reviewing purchase invoices, card payments transactions, and expense reports and routing them for approval for Estonia, UK, Spain, and US.
• Sending reminders to invoice approvers
• Communicating with suppliers on invoices
• Maintaining our expense management tool and fixed assets
• Ensuring correct cost allocation, periodization of expenses
• Preparing and processing bank payment files and ensuring on-time payments to suppliers and employees
• Supporting with month-end closing
• Assisting with additional ad-hoc duties to support the Accounting team

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

• 1-2 years experience in finance/accounting or a final year student in Accounting
• Excellent Estonian and English
• Understanding different aspects of accounting rules and regulations
• A detail-oriented mindset, while also having generalization skills
• A “can-do” attitude, with the ability to prioritize and deliver
• The team player ethic, while being comfortable working independently

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

• Worked in a multinational team before
• Experience with an expense management tool and AP approval processes.
