The Finance team plays a crucial role in maintaining Veriff's financial health and stability. We use strategic decision-making to facilitate Veriff's growth while developing innovative financial solutions that align with our mission of creating a safer internet. As a Finance team member, you will help support our data-driven culture by managing the accounts payable process with all stakeholders. Your positivity, knowledge of accounting, and fast “can do” attitude will help find quick solutions to even the most unusual problems in a high-growth scale-up life environment.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

• Supporting Estonian accounting operations and overseeing accounting functions in other countries
• Completing payroll calculations and related tax calculations
• Managing the Accounts Payable process as well as supporting AP specialists: reviewing purchase invoices, card payment transactions, and expense reports
• Ensuring correct cost allocation, periodization of expenses
• Implementing best practices and documenting processes such as AP and Payroll
• Submitting local statutory reports relevant to its specific area (e.g., in Estonia TSD, KMD, Statistics, Social Insurance)
• Supporting implementation of new tooling (e.g. ERP)
• Supporting with month-end closing
• Working in cooperation with the Finance Department on process developments as well as the annual financial audit

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

• 2+ years of work experience in Accounting and hands-on experience with Estonian accounting
• Excellent Estonian and English
• Highly proficient, having skills and experience needed to excel in Accounting responsibility areas (Estonian accounting standards, taxation)
• A detail-oriented mindset while also having generalization skills
• A “can-do” attitude, with the ability to prioritize and deliver
• The team player ethic while being comfortable working independently

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

• Worked in a multinational team before
• Experience with International Accounting
• Experience with a large-scale ERP (e.g. Oracle, Workday)
