Information about the position

As a Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting solutions that meet our users' needs. In this position you will work closely with a group of Product Designers focused on evolving the Vinted experience and partner up with cross-functional peers, including Product Managers, Data Analysts, and Engineers.

You will be working within our Vinted Go team, which is a brand new business unit and an extremely exciting time to join. You'll be working within a fast-paced environment, which gives plenty of opportunity to be impactful in creating new business ideas and strategic initiatives that can create a big impact within the business team as well as the wider design function.

In this position, you’ll

  • Join a cross-functional team, define problems and goals, map flows, prototype interactions, and support the development process.
  • Take charge of design planning and execution for the initiatives.
  • Drive user centricity within your team. Keep users in the center of your process from start to finish, uncover user needs and problems as well as validate the solutions with target users.
  • Work within an environment which combines physical and digital design and gives the opportunity to work on a variety of operational tools, optimise applications, physical layouts as well as improve the operational process’ and service experience.
  • Conduct usability tests to assess and validate design ideas and collaborate with User Researchers on discovery studies to build a 360 view of the problem.
  • Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-functional partners.

About you

  • Have several years experience in Product Design or UX design experience in product and within cross functional teams.
  • Be versatile and have T-shaped design skills, where you have a broad range of design skills and depth specifically in user experience area (UX and UR).
  • You'll have a willingness and motivation to stretch your creative practices into various design fields. (eg. Visual design, physical product design, user interface design)
  • Experienced in working closely with products in a cross functional, agile environment. It's important that you have the ability to collaborate with the wider product and engineering teams to create feasible, viable and desirable solutions.
  • The ability to understand complex systems, solving complex problems with a design thinking approach.
  • Good story telling skills when showcasing your work and answering situational questions.
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills.
  • Be fluent in English (both written and verbal).
  • Have previous experience in mentoring other designers, providing creative direction and support.
  • A basic understanding of service design thinking and willingness to learn and grow into this skill.

Individual Learning Budget

Vinted will set aside a yearly sum equal to 10-13.2% of your annual salary to be invested in your continuous professional development. You’ll be able to take the initiative to use it for covering relevant learning activities that benefit your role.

Hybrid Work

We’ve adopted a hybrid workplace model where 2 days in office are recommended but not enforced. It’s up to you and your team to decide on the exact days you’ll spend working together in person.
