We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of People to lead and oversee Vinted's people strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal role requires exceptional leadership qualities, strategic vision, and effective people management skills.This role is integral to our group leadership team, working alongside senior leaders including the CEO of Marketplace, VP of Shipping (Vinted Go), CFO, CTO, VP of Data Science and Analytics, VP of Legal & Compliance, and VP of Corporate Affairs.

As the VP of People, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our business goals. Your key responsibilities will include fostering a vibrant company culture, driving talent acquisition and development, managing performance and rewards, and leveraging people data to inform strategic decisions. You will also direct wider people operations and technology, internal communications, knowledge management and real estate functions to ensure an optimal employee experience.

In this position, you’ll

  • Develop, align, and execute the Vinted People strategy, with clear prioritization and roadmaps, ensuring that the People team and its capabilities fit the needs of said strategy
  • Oversee all People operations and processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs, both now and in the future.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform your strategies and decisions
  • Ensure a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive
  • Achieve the most impact with the best efficiency, being keenly focused on end goals
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the People Team by fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Work with the group leadership team to shape the overall Vinted strategy while bringing your own unique perspective to the discussions
  • Influence and guide the group leadership team on all People-related topics

About you

  • 10+ years of leadership experience, of which some must be in HR/People
  • Outstanding strategic skills, ability to evaluate situations, and translate them into actionable strategies
  • Excellent track record of executing long-term strategies
  • Proven ability to engage and be a strong peer to other senior leaders
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence people
  • Ability to use data for your own decisions and to influence the decisions of others
  • Fit with Vinted’s culture: growth-oriented, caring toward people, authentic and transparent
  • Fluency in English

Individual Learning Budget

Vinted will set aside a yearly sum equal to 10-13.2% of your annual salary to be invested in your continuous professional development. You’ll be able to take the initiative to use it for covering relevant learning activities that benefit your role.

Hybrid Work

We’ve adopted a hybrid workplace model where 2 days in office are recommended but not enforced. It’s up to you and your team to decide on the exact days you’ll spend working together in person.

The salary range for this position is € 11,250 - € 19,583 gross per month.
