Information about the position

We’re looking for a Senior Sales and Operations (S&OP) analyst to join Vinted Go Carrier. In this role, you’ll be translating business plans and various data sets into operational insights, actions and reports, enabling the operations team to make well informed decisions. Also, the S&OP analyst will share operational knowledge by closely collaborating with multiple other teams, including Data Science and Analytics, to develop new metrics and forecasting models. If you enjoy building complex and scalable operational models, performing analysis to improve operational efficiencies and supporting operations up close, – this position could be the right fit for you.

In this position, you’ll

  • Work closely with multiple teams to align on operational plans and needs, discover potential supply chain disruptions or improvements
  • Provide analytical insights and forecasting on a weekly basis for various teams
  • Develop, update and prepare various reports used by the operational teams
  • Identify and propose fulfillment strategies for operational sub-teams
  • Provide insights on how operations should develop from an analytical standpoint and help evaluate impacts of new initiatives on operations
  • Update planning and forecasting tools to reflect new business developments
  • Continuously assess, refine, and automate existing processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and analyses as needed

About you

  • Previous 3+ years experience as a Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, Product Analyst or other experience requiring analytical skills
  • Good understanding (or the ability and willingness to learn) of logistics operations and planning is a must
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficient at turning various types of data into key messages for cross-functional teams (from operational teams to commercial teams)
  • Have good organizational and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced and dynamic environment, as well as multiple deliverables
  • Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
  • Creative at problem solving tasks
  • Curious and proactive in your approach to learning and execution
  • Advanced in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets, with a deep understanding of model architecture, formula efficiency, pivot tables. Macros and SQL understanding are a plus

The salary range for this position is 2,980 - € 3,733 gross per month.
