Information about the position
We are looking for a Finance Data Control Analyst to join our Finance Data Control team, which is a part of Vinted's Group Finance department.
As a whole, we are in charge of producing transparent, high-quality financial accounts, as well as contributing towards sustainable operations and company growth. In this position, your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the reliability and accuracy of our financial data. You will actively contribute to internal improvements in our operations, while also collaborating closely with other teams to ensure financial compliance within the Group. To keep up with the rapid growth and increasing complexity of our financial operations, the finance department is looking for a new member.
In this position, you’ll
- Prepare revenue and cost reconciliations across multiple Vinted platforms.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of internal and external data, interpreting it at a transactional level.
- Calculate periodic financial adjustments for accounting and reporting purposes.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal finance processes by identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Drive process automation and create reports to enhance work efficiency.
- Collaborate with other Finance Control teams in implementing new projects and initiatives.
- Help Finance department stakeholders with various inquiries related to financial data
- Work with Data Science and Analytics teams to maintain structure of financial data and create reports for accurate financial reporting
About you
- At least 2 years of experience in the finance, audit, consulting or related field
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business or Accounting
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Capabilities of working with large data sets and reporting
- Understanding of accounting standards and their application
- Willingness to strengthen both, accounting and analytics skills
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Interest in optimization and finding new ways of doing things
- Ready to commit, own and create
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and role
- Passion for technology-driven businesses
- SQL or other query languages (MySQL, BigQuery and etc.) would be and advantage

The salary range for this position is € 2,533 - € 3,433 gross per month.
