Vinted Go is the delivery arm of Vinted, and focuses on developing products and solutions for more seamless shipping and delivery across Europe. We recently launched our own carrier, meaning we are responsible for the entire journey of a parcel. We have over 8000 Vinted operated PUDO locations across Europe and are currently expanding into the US

You will be joining as an Engineering Manager and in this role, you will be managing a mix of backend, web, QA, and android engineers. The team is currently responsible for the software to support our drivers, this includes driver management, driver routing, and the driver app which drivers use to complete their delivery rounds.

Engineering Managers are accountable for the technical and delivery outcomes for their team, which means supporting and developing best in class engineering talent, as well as creating an inclusive team environment for people to do their best work. You’ll be responsible for structuring, organising, supporting, and challenging your team to deliver on their mission.

• Own team’s delivery of technical solutions according to the roadmap, including quarterly planning
• Stay close to the technical details so you can ensure we efficiently build reliable and scalable software to create the most impact
• Constantly look for ways to improve your team and raise the bar and take full ownership when things go wrong
• Focus on the professional and personal growth of your team, including conducting performance and compensation reviews in collaboration with the Director of Engineering
• Build and maintain a team of people who trust each other, are not afraid of conflict, are committed and accountable, and who care about results

• Proven experience leading a software engineering team and delivering on agreed outcomes
• Previous software engineering experience
• Know how to make teams effective, manage scopes, and deliverables
• You possess strong people management skills - have experience ensuring development of team members
• Comfortable facilitating technical discussions with team, peers, and stakeholders
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English

The salary range for this position is € 6,258 - € 8,475 gross per month.
