Information about the position
VintedGo has opened its very own parcel centres in Utrecht, Paris and Bordeaux. At the centre, Vinted parcels can be collected and dropped-off by customers. As parcel centre operative in Amsterdam, you help customers with their parcels, receive and return parcel bags to drivers, and proactively communicate with colleagues to further improve the centre.
In this position, you’ll
- Support the daily operations at the Amsterdam and Utrecht parcel centres, making sure workflows run smoothly
- Work alongside operatives, assisting with customer drop-offs, pick-ups, and driver facilitation
- Support the manager by highlighting when scheduling or re-assignment may be needed
- Guide and support team members in their tasks, acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day questions or issues
- Assist with onboarding and training new operatives to ensure they understand processes, safety, and customer service
- Monitor productivity, suggest improvements where needed, and help maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant work environment
- Liaise with carrier representatives and partners in a professional manner
- Share feedback and observations to help improve operations
- Check if operatives follow company policies, health & safety, and quality standards
- This role will consist of approximately 75% Parcel Point Operative duties and 25% administrative responsibilities
- 7 months fixed term contract.
- 40h per week.
About you
- Proficiency in English (Dutch is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge in logistics, retail, or parcel operations.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to represent the brand professionally and build positive relationships with both customers and partners.
- Comfortable with multi-site supervision and occasional travel between parcel centres.
