As we expand, we are looking for a talented Product Designer to elevate our products and shape the future of user-centric digital solutions. This role is crucial for the creation and enhancement of products, contributing to design strategy and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This team is focused on the overall Digital Platform, which encompasses data visualizations, large data sets, AI products, and the integration of back-office functions and commerce into the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design Strategy & Problem Solving:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and design leadership to define project goals and desired outcomes.
- Design and deliver intuitive, user-centered experiences, spanning wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Learn how to make data-driven decisions, leveraging user feedback, usability testing, and quantitative data to inform and refine design decisions.
Project Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead design projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring user needs and business objectives are met.
- Partner with Design Managers, Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams to integrate design seamlessly into product development.
- Follow existing design patterns to ensure a cohesive design across products in Omnissa’s portfolio.
User Research & Insights:
- Partner with UX Research to conduct user research, including interviews, and usability tests to understand user needs and improve design decisions.
- Identify UX enhancements based on research findings and work with teams to implement changes
Design Systems & Visual Communication:
- Work within and contribute to Omnissa’s design system, ensuring visual consistency and accessibility.
- Produce high-quality visual designs and detailed UI specifications that meet usability and accessibility standards.
Continuous Improvement & Learning:
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, introducing innovative ideas to the team.
- You maintain a growth mindset toward changes and challenges.
Qualifications
- 2+ years as a Product Designer in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio showcasing diverse design work, including wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and case studies.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with design systems, UI patterns, usability, and interaction design principles.
- Knowledge of UX research methods, with the ability to incorporate research into design.
- User-centered, creative problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
