What is the opportunity?
As a Senior Project Manager, you have the opportunity to join our growing Omnissa Professional Services team. Become a member of our collaborative and supportive work environment and help us drive innovation!

Project Management Responsibilities

  • In this role you will apply and further grow your experience in technical project management and customer-facing positions to plan, coordinate, track and manage the project(s) to successful completion in both a local and virtual environment.
  • Leading the coordination of our EUC professional services engagements for Workspace ONE & Horizon
  • You will work directly with technical staff and business subject matter experts to orchestrate project delivery to ensure projects are delivered and executed in alignment with the overall project plan, driving customer outcomes, and customer satisfaction. This will give you the chance to shine and demonstrate your leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills as well as your business acumen.
  • You will successfully develop and maintain project plans including charter, scope, work breakdown structures, estimates, resource plans, budget, task dependencies, schedule, open issues, risk assessment, management and mitigation plans across multiple work streams.
  • You will develop change management skills as you work to quickly define and manage overall project risks and take corrective action in a proactive manner to mitigate risks and prevent issues.
  • Progress through your coaching plan and build your knowledge of Omnissa’s project management methodology and technologies
  • Provide clear and timely communication regarding the status of complex large-scale projects – schedule, budget, progress to date, risks etc. - to relevant stakeholders
  • Follow Omnissa’s project management methodology and ensure that projects adhere to the defined guidelines and stage gate process
  • Engage with Sales and Account teams to identify/drive account growth opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement of project processes – methodology, templates, best practices etc. based on lessons learned from projects
  • Direct and monitor work efforts on a daily basis, identify resource needs, perform quality review and escalate functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately
  • Work on your IT project management certifications to deliver IT automation and cross-cloud solutions


What will you bring to Omnissa? (List required / preferred skills)

  • 7+ years of prior work experience in a professional office environment.
  • 3+ years of Professional Services operations, Engagement/Implementation Manager experience.
  • Experience working in a Consulting or Professional Services environment preferred, experience working in the technology industry required.
  • Professional Services Automation application experience preferred.
  • Strong MS Office suite skills- particularly MS Excel.
  • Demonstrable organization and great attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities on a regular basis with confidence and professionalism.
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • Comfortable pushing back and/or escalating in appropriate situations.
  • Comfortable with working through ambiguity and finding solutions.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is a strong plus.
  • Thrives in a remote working environment.
  • Experience in delivering engagements under PRINCE2, PMP or TOGAF frameworks.
  • Required to work night shifts
