About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive who approaches sales with an engineering mindset.

We have proven that our outbound motion works. We are closing six-figure deals with cold outreach. Now we need a builder who can take this signal, amplify it, and scale it.

This is a full-cycle role. You will generate your own leads, run the demos, fly out to meet the prospect, and close the deal. Because our product is usage-based and increasingly self-serve, you have a unique advantage. You can land customers with lower friction and expand them to $150k+ contracts as they consume more data.

You will thrive here if you view a sales process as a machine that requires constant debugging, tuning, and optimization.

What You Will Do

  • Hunt and Close: You will own the full lifecycle. You will prospect relentlessly, qualify early-adopter opportunities, and close deals averaging $150k.

  • Engineer the Process: You will build the playbook from scratch. You must treat the sales funnel like code by constantly testing subject lines, demo flows, and closing techniques to increase conversion rates.

  • Sell in Person: We believe trust is built faster face-to-face. You will travel to visit prospects and close deals over dinner and handshakes.

  • Land and Expand: You will leverage our usage-based pricing to get customers in the door, ensure they see value, and drive massive expansion revenue over time.

  • Feedback Loop: You will serve as the bridge between the market and product engineering. You will translate customer objections into product insights that help us build a better tool.

About You

We don't care about titles or credentials. We are looking for "Magical Teammates" who:

Role Requirements:

  • Early Stage DNA: You have sold for a seed or Series A startup before. If your experience is primarily managing inbound leads for a company with massive brand recognition, this role is not a fit.

  • Hunter Mentality: You know how to generate your own pipeline. You are comfortable with cold outreach and creative prospecting.

  • Systematic Thinker: You are organized and analytical. You track your metrics, analyze where deals stall, and fix the process.

  • Mid-Market Experience: You have a track record of closing deals in the $50k–$200k range.

  • Willingness to Travel: You are ready to get on a plane when a deal needs a human touch.

Compensation

  • Target Earnings (OTE): $200,000 – $240,000 (50/50 Split)

  • Equity: Founding Sales equity package (0.20% - 0.50%)

  • Commission Structure: Uncapped.
