This revenue leadership position will play a key role in our Growth sales organization and we’re looking for a talented, proven sales leader to take on this exciting challenge. As the Growth Partnerships Lead you will report to the SVP Client Partnerships, Growth and be responsible for high-growth revenue generation and increasing Vox Media’s customer base.

Your primary responsibility as Growth Partnerships Lead is to drive and grow revenue nationally with a specific focus on new business by managing strategy and priorities that aligns with broader company goals and puts your team in a position to succeed.

You will use your expertise, knowledge and experiences to lead a team of sales professionals helping our most trusted advertising partners to unlock the full potential of their brands through a unique blend of premier content offerings, high-value audiences, and cutting-edge technology.

This is a high-energy job, requiring proven leadership, persistent and persuasive interactions with senior clients, deep digital, social and video expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and senior management to achieve broader company goals.

  • Lead a team of digital media sales professionals to achieve and exceed KPIs and revenue goals
  • Accurately forecast revenue targets to sales leadership on a weekly basis
  • Work with team to navigate complex marketing challenges, identify opportunities to grow existing accounts to facilitate stronger relationships and increase revenue
  • Play vital role in scaling new business generation across different categories
  • Manage senior-level relationships with partners and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges
  • Consistently deliver market feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Bring unique perspective and relationships in emerging industries
  • Enjoy problem solving in a fast past, evolving environment
  • Provide leadership, guidance and teach strong sales skills
  • Attract, recruit, train and retain exceptional sales talent
  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of Vox Media’s advertising products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior management and leadership across the revenue organization
  • Maintain a positive team culture while motivating the team to achieve goals


  • 10+ years experience in advertising sales, 3+ years in a sales management with a proven track record of effective leadership
  • Deep passion and knowledge of digital media, online marketing technology, the competitive landscape and the industry's key issues
  • A proven ability to develop new business
  • Prospecting mindset
  • Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A strong track record of accurate forecasting and revenue growth.
  • A well established network within the advertising industry, both at the client and agency level
  • Demonstrated ability to function and communicate effectively at senior levels
  • Excellent coaching and training skills
  • Passion for the Vox Media portfolio of editorial brands and innovative advertising solutions
  • Willingness to travel

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this role may also include a discretionary bonus.

$190,000$215,000 USD
