About the role

The Senior Associate for Workforce Management will play a critical role in helping us standardize labor measurement and execution across our Wonder locations. This role focuses on developing and enhancing forecasting and reporting processes, especially as we start to transition to Workday. In this role, you will ensure that our team members and restaurant locations comply with scheduling regulations, such as New York City Fair Work Week, Philadelphia Fair Work Week, and internal Wonder best practices. This person is expected to collaborate closely with Field Operations to improve scheduling accuracy, ensure proper hour execution, and provide actionable reporting to key stakeholders across both field and corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Stabilize and improve labor reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist General Managers (GMs) and Regional Managers (RMs) with labor-related opportunities at HDRs (High Density Restaurants AKA Wonder locations).
  • System Administration: Manage new store setup within Workday.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as the SME on labor regulations and compliance, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and company policies.

Key Projects:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline workforce forecasting and labor reporting.
  • Lead the implementation of workforce-related projects within Workday, particularly around new store setups and configurations.
  • Provide guidance on compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, focusing on regulations like Fair Work Week.
  • Collaborate with field operations to identify and address workforce challenges, improving scheduling accuracy and maximizing efficiency.

The experience you have

  • Workforce management experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
  • Experience working with labor forecasting and scheduling software.
  • Previous experience working in compliance-heavy environments with strict scheduling regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in working with large data sets in Excel.
  • Solid understanding of labor regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering clear and actionable insights to both field and corporate teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Workday experience is highly desirable.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.

Base Salary: $113,000 (plus equity)
