About the Opportunity

We are seeking an entrepreneurial General Manager / Director to build and scale Wonder Create, a new platform that enables anyone, from famous influencers to enterprises and foodies, to develop and launch their own restaurant powered by Wonder’s technology, kitchens, and fulfillment network.

Wonder Create combines AI-native restaurant creation tools with Spyce’s Infinite Kitchen technology, allowing creators to design menus and restaurant concepts, instantly deploy them across Wonder locations, and reach millions of customers through pickup and delivery on Wonder and Grubhub.

This role will define the strategy, build and launch the platform, recruit creators, and scale the business into a major new growth engine for Wonder. You will own the business end-to-end, from concept to launch to scale, including strategy, P&L, partnerships, go-to-market, and hiring. You will work cross-functionally across product, AI, robotics, engineering, marketing, legal, finance, operations, and more to bring this entirely new business to life.

This role reports to the EVP, AI & Robotics and represents one of Wonder’s most ambitious platform initiatives.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Build the Business: Lead the development and scaling of Wonder Create as a new platform business within Wonder, from early experimentation to large-scale marketplace growth.

  • Vision and Strategy: Define the long-term vision and roadmap for Wonder Create, establishing how creators design, launch, and scale restaurants powered by Wonder.

  • P&L Ownership: Own the financial performance of the business, including growth, creator acquisition, unit economics, and profitability.

  • Creator Ecosystem Development: Attract and partner with chefs, influencers, brands, enterprises, and entrepreneurs to launch restaurants on the platform.

  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and execute the launch strategy for Wonder Create, building momentum with early creators and expanding the platform over time.

  • Operational Excellence: Build scalable systems and operating models that allow creators to launch restaurants quickly while maintaining Wonder’s standards for food quality and operational efficiency.

  • Cross Functional Leadership: Work across product, AI, robotics, legal, finance, marketing, and operations teams to bring Wonder Create to market while continuously improving it.

  • Test, Learn, and Iterate: Move fast by testing, learning, and iterating.

  • Team Building: Recruit and lead the core team responsible for partnerships, operations, and Wonder Create growth.

  • Performance and Reporting: Define key metrics, establish reporting frameworks, and ensure the business is operating with clear accountability and data-driven decision making.

What You Bring to the Table

The ideal candidate is a builder and operator who has experience launching and scaling new businesses from the ground up. You thrive in environments where the path isn’t fully defined and are excited to build something entirely new at the intersection of AI, food, robotics, and creator economies.

You combine strategic thinking, operational rigor, and entrepreneurial instinct, and you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves to turn a vision into a scalable business.

  • 10–15+ years of experience in general management, strategy, growth, product, marketplace, or business leadership roles

  • Experience building and scaling new products, platforms, or businesses from zero to one

  • Strong P&L ownership and experience driving revenue growth and marketplace dynamics

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, finance, legal, and marketing teams

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and experimentation

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Experience with marketplaces, creator platforms, or consumer technology businesses, a strong plus

  • MBA, a strong plus
