How you’ll make an impact
We are looking for a new colleague to join as a People Experience Manager with a focus on People Operations: You'll be the architect of a thriving employee experience at Planday. Here's how you'll make a real difference:
- Empower a High-Performing Workforce: You'll streamline daily People operations, ensuring seamless processes for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and more. This frees up valuable time for employees to focus on their core tasks and contribute to our success.
- Champion Compliance and Best Practices: Your expertise in HR policies and compliance will ensure we operate ethically and legally. You'll also implement best practices to elevate our People Experience (Px) function.
- Drive Innovation with HR Tech: As an HRIS superuser, you'll leverage technology to automate tasks and gain valuable insights. This allows us to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve our Px strategy.
What you’ll do
- Automate manual processes and create templates for core employee documents to drive efficiency and consistency, enabling us to move towards a higher degree of self-serve.
- Ensure all processes, policies and practices are fit for purpose and scalable - revising policies when needed. This includes horizon scanning for any changes to employment laws and practices that require a change of policy or process.
- Prepare presentations for the executive team on critical people issues such as diversity and inclusion, compensation, and attrition.
- Optimize people workflows throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benchmarking, and benefits, in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Anchor the performance and reward cycle by capturing data, generating reports, and updating the HRIS in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Drive storytelling behind people's data, define key metrics, and provide insights into current status and future trajectory.
- Scope opportunities for effective international setup, ensuring a consistent employee experience across geographies.
- Collaborating closely with Legal and InfoSec on business continuity and risk management matters, supporting ISO certification from a Px perspective.
- Collaborate with PX Business Partners to refine the wider employee experience and build processes supporting collaboration with the broader business.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Proven HR/PX experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of HR operations, including employee relations, benefits administration, HR policies, and compliance. Experience in managing day-to-day HR functions is essential.
- Experience in automating manual processes and creating templates for core employee documents.
- Proficient in generating reports, updating HRIS (Workday experience beneficial), and preparing presentations for the executive team on critical people issues such as diversity, inclusion, compensation, and attrition.
- Experience collaborating with Finance/payroll on different leave types and handling ER cases.
- Proactive in optimizing people workflows throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benchmarking, and benefits.
- Ability to work with data sets, provide insights and and tell stories behind people's data.

- Video call with the Hiring Manager
- A skill-based interview where you'll discuss your previous experience. For this call we'll ask you to prepare some slides to present, focused on a topic closely related to the role.
