How you’ll make an impact

As an Onboarding Consultant you will drive the success of Planday by leading new customers through a comprehensive onboarding journey, tailored to their specific business size and needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the platform and a consultative approach to customer service. Your ability to deliver a smooth and efficient onboarding experience will be key to maximizing customer satisfaction and driving long-term adoption of Planday.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding for customers of all sizes, following Planday’s onboarding playbook and best practices.

  • Manage a portfolio of customers, ensuring timely delivery, clear expectation setting, and strong adoption.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to both new and existing customers.

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to drive engagement and long-term success.

  • Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and ensure customers go live successfully and on time.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Product to deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and follow internal processes and systems.

  • Continuously develop product, market, and industry knowledge.

  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing Planday’s values, professionalism, and customer-first mindset.

What you’ll bring with you

  • Experience in onboarding, customer success, account management, or a similar customer-facing SaaS role.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills across multiple customer journeys.

  • Empathy, patience, and a solutions-focused mindset.

  • Confidence using CRM systems and customer engagement tools.

  • A proactive, self-driven approach with an open mindset and willingness to take initiative.

  • High professionalism, integrity, and collaborative spirit.

  • Customers successfully go live on time and with strong feature adoption.

  • High customer satisfaction and minimal escalations.

  • Clear, proactive communication and strong stakeholder alignment.

  • Consistent achievement of onboarding goals and KPIs.
