About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management of the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and a strong knowledge of NetSuite ERP. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in accounting and finance, with experience in assisting the management of a team of accountants.

What skills do I need?

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Hands-on, technical experience with IGAAP and USGAAP.
  • Experience working on Statutory compliances of India Companies (Income Tax, GST, RBI etc)
  • Experience in managing Statutory & Internal Audits.
  • Experience in preparing MIS reports.
  • Experience in managing a team of 3+ members across accounting and finance functions.
  • Demonstrated experience working with consolidated financial statements.
  • Experience working within advanced ERP (e.g., NetSuite)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google business applications.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working for a US-based SaaS tech company.
  • Experience working for a Big 4 CPA firm (Deloitte / EY / PwC / KPMG).
  • Experience working in a management role.
  • Advanced-level knowledge of NetSuite.
  • Experience working with FloQast (or equivalent) close management software.

What will I be doing?

  • Handle India Company accounting and finance functions.
  • Review and approve the work done by India accounting team.
  • Manage the month-end closing process for India company in compliance with US GAAP and IGAAP.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
  • Prepare and review workings for statutory tax returns and other tax compliances.
  • Prepare workings for the year-end audit process for the India and US consolidated entity.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other third-party service providers.
  • Provide data analysis and support to management and other departments as required.
  • Support in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Assist with implementation of best practices for the accounting ERP system (NetSuite).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute finance functions effectively.
