Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for products, projects, or services based on drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Analyze materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor quotes, and other cost elements to develop accurate cost sheets.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, production, and sales teams to gather necessary inputs for costing.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and project documents.
- Assist in preparing pricing proposals, quotations, tenders, and bid documents.
- Conduct market research to monitor pricing trends and update cost databases.
- Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering solutions.
- Maintain updated costing records, templates, and historical data.
- Participate in client discussions to clarify technical and cost-related queries when required.
- Ensure all cost estimates meet company standards, timelines, and accuracy levels.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in costing, estimation, pricing, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of estimation techniques, cost analysis, and basic financial principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (if applicable).
- Proficiency in Excel, costing software, ERP systems, or estimation tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
