What we’re looking for
Zinier is growing, which is driving a need for a central technical function that will provide specific services to the global Zinier pre-sales team (technical sales). This function will be provided by a small offshore team situated closely with the Technical Delivery team in Bangalore, India. This crucial role will provide the global pre-sales team with the demonstration and presentation collateral required to provide an impactful and differentiated experience to each potential future customer.
The successful candidate will be joining a new and exciting team. You should have experience working in a fast paced and demanding environment. Have a background in software development, a creative and inquisitive mind, and an eye for detail.
What the role offers
Understand the capabilities and value benefits of the Zinier solution and use this information to:
- Understand and translate customer needs into implementable business solutions to enable long-term success and business integration.
- Provide basic project management for incoming customer requests for information (RFx) and direct each question to appropriately knowledgeable team members
- Collect boilerplate content to be used in future bids in a format that encourages re-use
- Provide high quality slides that explain technical concepts in line with capabilities of the Zinier platform
- Build industry and customer specific demos based on sales team requirements, using the Zinier no/low code configuration toolset
- Support and collaborate with the Zinier Sales and Business Development teams to present our solution in a comprehensive and compelling way to win business.
- Present regularly to the potential customer and Zinier stakeholders on the status of the deal pursuits that are being supported
- Understand the Zinier product and platform in order to influence product development plans and schedules based on customer feedback
- Get exposed to the latest technology constructs such as low code, platform solutions and AI in field service.
What you’ll bring
- At least 3 years experience in modern software development, or a degree in a suitable IT subject
- Experience of similar technical pre-sales roles in another company
- A curious mind, always learning
- An open and collaborative working style
- Organized and structured when creating content
- A high level of energy and enthusiasm when managing each task
- Ambition to move upwards in the company
- A exceptional candidate will also have:
- An understanding of field service companies and the industries that they cover
- Experience of working in other software startups
