JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Lead - Retention & Wallet Share (Credit Card Business)

Location: Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-Time


We are looking for a motivated Business professional to lead strategy, planning, and execution activities for programs that improve customer engagement, loyalty, and retention for the credit card business. This individual will work closely with colleagues to drive and implement customer segmentation, marketing campaigns, customer treatment strategies, and account management programs that deliver NPV-positive impacts for the credit card P&L.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform customer segmentation analysis and formulate right card marketing and retention strategies to stimulate credit card usage.

  • Develop marketing campaigns and partnership programs to boost customer engagement as measured by incremental, NPV-positive purchase volume, revolve, and revenue growth.

  • Manage Zolve’s rewards and offers program to ensure robust, competitive offers, experiences, and partnerships while balancing cost.

  • Own tracking and drive awareness of business performance on key metrics, explaining performance and insights regarding trends and expert opinion on forecasted performance.

  • Understand drivers of P&L performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.

  • Leverage data to identify trends and insights that impact success, report on key metrics, and optimize engagement, retention, and loyalty programs.

  • Seek, understand, and apply new trends and competitive best practices where applicable.

  • Maintain close liaison with internal stakeholders and business partners for smooth execution of marketing programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master’s Degree in Business or related field

Experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience in product, strategy, analytics, or marketing with consumer credit card companies or scaled D2C consumer internet companies

  • Experience in ideating, incubating and launching Retention and Wallet Share initiatives and experiments with various stakeholders in the organization

Technical Skills:

  • Analytically savvy—strong knowledge of reporting/analytical tools to leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to drive decisions.

  • Sound Marketing knowhow with experience of driving successful campaigns on varied customers segments at different times

  • Experience in developing and enacting experiments and programs to increase engagement on D2C customer app with top-line and bottom-line impact

  • Sound experience and knowledge of MS Office, Data Interpretation & Analysis, Stakeholder management, Partnership & Alliances management

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Planning, organizing, and scheduling in an efficient, productive manner; focusing on key priorities while managing time well

  • Experience of being empathetic to deeply understand the voice of customers

  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

  • Comfortable with quickly changing priorities and conditions; someone who copes effectively with complexity and change. Comfortable with risk, which means uncertainty, which means potential opportunity. Willing to develop new approaches where needed.
