JOB DESCRIPTION
Role: Credit Risk Analyst
Location: Bengaluru
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in setting underwriting criteria, managing credit policy, building reporting and KPIs, and utilizing tools such as SQL and Python to understand the drivers of credit performance. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the credit risk management strategy aligns with organizational goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set Underwriting Criteria:
Develop and refine underwriting criteria based on a thorough analysis of credit risk factors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate business objectives into underwriting guidelines.
Line Assignment and Pricing:
Determine appropriate credit limits and line assignments for individual customers.
Implement pricing strategies that align with risk assessment and organizational goals.
Maintain Credit Policy:
Regularly review and update credit policies to adapt to changing market conditions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Build Reporting & KPIs:
Design and generate comprehensive credit risk reports.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of credit risk strategies.
Manage Underwriting Segments to Target Returns:
Segment the underwriting portfolio to optimize risk and return.
Continuously evaluate and adjust underwriting strategies to achieve targeted returns.
Assist with Line Increase Targeting and Measurement:
Analyze customer behavior and credit performance to support decisions on line increases.
Develop and implement strategies to measure the impact of line increases on overall credit risk.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Credit Risk Analysis.
Technical Skills: Utilize SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for credit risk assessment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills: Excellent understanding of credit risk drivers and industry best practices.Effective communication and collaboration skills
