JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Lead – SEO


Location: Bengaluru


Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a senior SEO leader to own and scale organic acquisition at Zolve across traditional search and AI-driven discovery platforms. This role requires deep expertise in technical SEO, keyword strategy, conversion optimization, and AEO/GEO optimization for AI platforms, along with the ability to lead teams and influence product decisions in a high-growth, product-led environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Organic Growth, AEO & GEO Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end SEO strategy to drive sustained organic traffic, high-intent acquisition, and conversion-led growth

  • Define and execute keyword strategies across product, transactional, editorial, and programmatic journeys

  • Lead AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) efforts to improve visibility across AI assistants, featured answers, and conversational search

  • Drive GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to ensure Zolve content and product pages are discoverable, cited, and referenced across AI-powered platforms and LLM-based search experiences

  • Identify organic growth opportunities across geographies, products, and customer segments

Technical SEO & Platform Readiness

  • Lead technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, crawlability, indexing, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and performance

  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to embed SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices into development workflows

  • Ensure SEO and AI-search readiness for new product launches, features, and international expansion

Content, Intent & Conversion Optimization

  • Collaborate with Content, Design, and Product teams to build SEO- and AI-optimized content strategies

  • Optimize landing pages and funnels to improve organic conversion rates, engagement, and downstream revenue impact

  • Balance traffic scale with search intent quality, AI visibility, and business outcomes

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Build, manage, and mentor a team of SEO specialists and agency partners

  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and execution playbooks covering SEO, AEO, and GEO

  • Drive accountability, experimentation, and best-practice adoption across the SEO functions.

Analytics, Insights & Reporting

  • Own SEO and AI-discovery performance dashboards and regular reporting to leadership

  • Track and optimize metrics including organic traffic growth, Top 10 keyword rankings, AI answer visibility, citations, and organic conversion rates

  • Translate search and AI-discovery data into clear business insights and product recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Skills & Experience:

  • 6–10 years of experience in SEO and organic growth.

  • 2–3+ years of experience leading SEO teams or agencies.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in technical SEO, keyword strategy, and conversion optimization

  • Proven exposure to AEO and GEO optimization for AI-powered search and generative platforms

  • Experience in product-led, consumer internet, or fintech companies.

  • Deep understanding of search algorithms, on-page, off-page, technical SEO, and AI search behavior.

  • Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (Google Search Console, GA, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.)

  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on business impact and revenue outcomes.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
