We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team here at Cohesity, focused on reporting and analytics. As part of the BI&A Team, this individual will play a key role in the company’s key performance indicators reporting, analysis and automations. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide clear visibility to the leadership team of the health of the business and the performance forecast and actuals against plan.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
You will develop a deep understanding of the company’s KPIs, reporting tools, and data structure in order to identify and drive resolution of issues, provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or identify, develop, and propose new metrics, dashboards, scorecards or new tools
Manage the weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of the company’s key metrics assisting leadership in the decision making process
Be the corporate expert on metric definitions, such as Annual Contract Value and Annual Recurring Revenue, to provide recurring and ad hoc financial analysis
Collaborate within the wider BI&A team to automate and improve reporting processes and dashboards
Proactively recommend process improvements and collaborate cross-functionally as required to drive enhancements
Create policy and process documentation as necessary; provide guidance and education to cross-functional teams as needed
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
Solid business acumen and understanding of the sales process (forecasting, bookings, revenue and billings)
Must have great problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, operate independently, understand business issues and be able to clearly and concisely put together recommendations and implementation plans
Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Advanced skills in Excel and other financial planning and forecasting tools
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and with Google Suite
Familiarity with SFDC, Netsuite, Tableau and Snowflake are a plus
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet firm deadlines is a must

YOUR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required
MBA or equivalent degree a plus
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a high growth technology company

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
