We are looking for a manager or senior manager in field collections with 6–8 years of total experience and 3–4 years of Team management experience in Collections. The ideal candidate should have managed more than 3 vendors for at least 2 years.

Preferred Industry: Debt Collections (Banks/NBFCs)

What you'll be doing:

• Identify new markets and evaluate expansion based on sales growth.
• Collaborate with clients and bankers across locations.
• Develop channel partners for effective field operations.
• Review payouts and ensure productivity is within budget.
• Stay updated on industry trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Implement portfolio treatments to maximize performance.
• Plan and allocate headcount based on productivity metrics.
• Lead and mentor agency managers for field collections.
• Ensure headcount planning based on portfolio size and market growth.
• Develop and upskill talent, and plan for retention and succession.
• Create a talent pool for effective hiring.
• Drive team engagement and bonding activities.
• Regularly review performance with vendors and area managers.
• Communicate targets promptly across teams and vendors.
• Set SMART goals and provide regular feedback.
• Ensure compliance with business policies, collection procedures, and audit requirements.
• Monitor compliance and audit adherence at vendor locations.

• Should possess strong execution skills along with ability to identify root causes of problems, generate and evaluate alternative solutions, and implement problem resolutions quickly and effectively with fact-based decisions
• Strong team management and vendor management skills.
• Forecasting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with evidence of teamwork and collaboration
• Excellent listening, problem solving, analytical skills and Conflict management skills
• Post-graduate / graduate degree or equivalent educational qualifications.
• Has good understanding of Collection Processes
