Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Associate Director/Director with 12+ years of experience to drive strategic growth, lead high-impact partnerships, and expand our market presence. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in business expansion, enterprise sales, and stakeholder engagement within the fintech and BFSI sectors.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue and market penetration.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances in fintech, BFSI, and NBFC sectors.
- Drive lead generation, sales pipeline development, and conversion strategies for sustainable business growth.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Set clear performance targets, monitor KPIs, and provide regular coaching to improve team effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative and high-energy sales culture to drive motivation and accountability.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Engage and build relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, Founders, Business Heads) to drive strategic deals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to refine offerings and tailor value propositions.
- Provide market insights and competitive analysis to influence product development and go-to-market strategies.
Revenue & Performance Optimization
- Own P&L responsibility for the business development function, ensuring revenue targets are met.
- Track and analyze key sales metrics, refining strategies to maximize efficiency and profitability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 12+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales in fintech/SaaS/BFSI.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a high-performing BD team.
- Strong networking and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
