JOB DESCRIPTION – Financial reporting & audit

Designation-Assistant Manager (Finance)

Need a process and a detail-oriented candidate for financial reporting in the Finance function

A. Reporting & Financial processes

1. Preparation of the financials.
2. Monthly closure of the books on time & preparation of MIS.
3. Ensuring the debtor ageing should not be > 30 days.
4. Reasons of creditors outstanding > 60 days, advance standing > 30 days & provision > 30 days.
5. Ensuring there are no debit balances in sundry creditors and advances > 15 days.
6. Maintaining of cost parity with the HoldCo and informing HoldCo of any best practice in the subsidiary.
7. Regularly looking to cut & optimize the cost.
8. Analyzing the monthly cost and providing the reason for the variance.
9. Preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and AOPs.
10. Responsible for all accounting activities and tracking whether the compliances with various statutes are met.
11. Creation of Process notes, accounting notes, and guidance notes.
12. Tracking all the payments are being done correctly.

B. Treasury

1. To handle banking, mutual funds & any other financial product relationship.
2. To negotiate with the banks on various products.
3. To forecast the working capital requirements and manage the cash flow
4. To track the weekly treasury income and ensure the ROI is maintained.

C. Audit

1. All the finance processes are properly adhered, and best practices have been implemented.
2. All expenses are booked correctly with proper approvals & supporting.
3. All payments are processed correctly.
4. MIS is shared correctly incorporating all the facts and disclosures.
5. Revenue is booked correctly as per the agreed commercials and consumption.
6. Debtors are being followed up regularly to ensure DSO is within 30 days.

Requirements

1. CA with 4-5 years of experience.
2. Should have worked with a startup company
3. Early joiners preferred
