ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a sharp, street-smart Business Development Manager who knows how to open doors, navigate complex sales cycles, and close deals that matter. You bring energy, hustle, and the ability to read a room — whether you’re pitching to a CXO or following up relentlessly on a warm lead. Experience in fintech or BFSI is a strong advantage, but your drive and sales instinct matter more.
This is a hunter role at its core — you’ll be building pipelines, managing relationships, and contributing directly to revenue.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Pipeline & Revenue Generation
Own end-to-end sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification to demo, negotiation, and closure
Build and manage a healthy, qualified pipeline using a mix of outbound outreach, referrals, and inbound leads
Consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets
Leverage AI-powered sales tools (e.g., CRM intelligence, outreach automation, call analytics) to increase efficiency and conversion rates
Market Expansion & Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across fintech, BFSI, and NBFC segments
Map target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and craft compelling outreach strategies
Develop partnerships and alliances that expand Credgenics’ market footprint
Stakeholder & Client Management
Engage decision-makers — CXOs, Founders, Business Heads — with confidence and consultative selling techniques
Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and clients, ensuring seamless onboarding handoffs and long-term relationship health
Negotiate and close high-value contracts with a win-win approach
Sales Intelligence & Collaboration
Use data and insights to prioritize accounts, refine pitches, and continuously improve your win rate
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align messaging and surface real market feedback
Share competitive intelligence and customer insights to influence GTM strategy
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves
- 4-7 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or enterprise tech
- Street-smart with strong commercial instincts — you know when to push, when to listen, and when to walk away
- Deep understanding of the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and closure
- Excellent communication skills — you can simplify complex solutions and tell a compelling story
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with minimal hand-holding
- Comfortable using AI-enabled sales tools and modern CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, Gong)
Good to Have
- Prior exposure to fintech, BFSI, collections, lending, or credit SaaS — understanding of how lenders think is a real edge
- Experience selling to CXO-level stakeholders in regulated industries
- Familiarity with AI/automation-driven products and the ability to articulate technical value in business terms
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
