We are seeking a strategic, influential, and operations-minded Manager, Sourcing & Housing Solutions to lead the growth, retention, and expansion of a portfolio of mid-market to enterprise clients. This role is responsible for shaping the client strategy, driving long-term account value, and overseeing cross-functional engagement to ensure our Venue Sourcing customers achieve measurable business outcomes.
You will serve as the executive point of contact for high-value accounts, guiding them through product adoption, global expansion, and optimization of Cvent’s Sourcing & Housing solutions. This role will develop account growth strategies, lead renewal and upsell cycles, advocate for customer needs internally, and contribute to long-term product and commercial strategy.
This position requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, inspire internal teams, and build deep relationships with senior client stakeholders while driving significant revenue impact.
In This Role, You Will:
Strategic Account Leadership
- Own the executive relationship with key client accounts, serving as a strategic advisor and ensuring alignment to clients’ long-term business goals.
- Develop and execute multi-year account strategies focused on retention, expansion, and customer value realization.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders to drive adoption, influence buy-in, and position Cvent as a strategic partner.
Revenue Growth & Portfolio Strategy
- Lead the full revenue lifecycle for assigned accounts, including renewals, expansion strategies, multi-solution upsells, and cross-product growth opportunities.
- Create and manage annual revenue plans per account, setting aggressive yet achievable growth targets.
- Evaluate account performance, forecasting risks and opportunities using data-driven analysis.
- Guide internal teams on growth strategy execution and customer success planning to meet financial objectives.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Strategic Accounts, Client Services, Product, and Marketing to align on customer goals, coordinate key initiatives, and streamline delivery of client outcomes.
- Influence product roadmap discussions by advocating for client needs, market trends, and feature enhancements.
- Lead internal account reviews, guiding teams on strategy, risk mitigation, and performance optimization.
Operational Excellence & Customer Experience
- Oversee the resolution of escalated client issues, ensuring exceptional response times and high customer satisfaction.
- Establish account management best practices, SOPs, and scalable processes for onboarding, benchmarking, and expansion.
- Promote high adoption of Exchange Solutions by developing tailored engagement plans.
- Conduct executive-level business reviews, presenting data on performance, sourcing trends, and ROI.
Market Insight & Strategic Guidance
- Analyze client usage patterns, vertical-specific trends, and sourcing volume to inform growth strategies and reporting.
- Identify emerging opportunities across business units and global markets, ensuring clients continuously leverage the full value of Cvent’s sourcing ecosystem.
- Provide strategic insights to internal leadership regarding client challenges, growth potential, and competitive landscape.
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in account management, customer success, or strategic consulting within SaaS, hospitality, travel, or event management industries.
- Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level accounts and multi-million-dollar portfolios.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at senior levels.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, leading negotiation cycles, and directing account strategy.
- Deep understanding of solution selling, customer lifecycle management, and cross-functional leadership.
- Highly analytical, with experience generating strategic insights from customer and market data.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office; strong comfort with SaaS ecosystems and business applications.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
