The HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic advisor to Cvent’s business leaders, driving people strategies that support Cvent’s growth, innovation, and performance culture. This role requires a metrics-driven HR leader with strong business acumen and the ability to partner effectively in a fast-paced, product-led technology organization.
In This Role, You Will:
Strategic Business Partnership
- Develop a strong understanding of Cvent’s business model, product strategy, revenue drivers, and operating rhythms.
- Partner with senior leaders to translate business goals into people strategies that enable scale, agility, and high performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and people implications of business decisions.
Talent, Performance & Culture
- Drive Cvent’s performance-oriented culture by partnering with leaders on goal setting, performance management, and capability building.
- Support leaders in retaining, developing, and engaging top talent across product, technology, sales, and support functions.
- Lead talent management initiatives including identification of critical roles, success profiles, talent assessments, and succession planning.
- Actively assess and improve organizational health, engagement, and leadership effectiveness across teams.
Employee Relations & Change Management
- Manage complex employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Provide change management support for business transformations, scaling initiatives, and cultural evolution within Cvent.
Data, Insights & Decision Support
- Leverage HR analytics and business data to provide insights on attrition, performance, engagement, and workforce trends.
- Build a culture of accountability through metrics-driven people practices and outcome-based decision making.
Collaboration with HR COEs
- Partner closely with HR COEs on compensation, benefits, mobility, relocation, talent assessments, and learning initiatives.
- Ensure effective execution of HR programs while tailoring solutions to business needs.
Stakeholder Management
- Influence and manage relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deliver clear, concise communication and high-quality reports and presentations to leadership.
Here's What You Need:
- 14–20 years of progressive HR experience, with deep expertise in HR Business Partnering.
- Strong experience in product-led technology / SaaS / IT services organizations.
- Proven success partnering with senior business leaders in a global, matrixed environment.
- Hands-on experience across the HR lifecycle in a high-growth, fast-paced setup.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and manage complex, evolving business needs.
- High levels of maturity, judgment, and relationship-building skills.
