Overview:

Cvent Australia is looking for a Project Manager on the Event 360 Professional Services Team supporting customers leveraging Cvent’s Virtual and Onsite Solutions.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Serve as the primary customer contact, managing their pre‑event and onsite experience in the Cvent platform across a range of event sizes and complexities
  • Manage several concurrent projects of differing sizes and complexity
  • Lead projects through engaging with the customer, vendors and internal resources to ensure the success of the project
  • Communicate and adhere to project milestones and internal metrics
  • Directly support and consult with customers on how to best leverage Cvent’s Virtual and Onsite Solutions
  • Act as a liaison between supplier vendors and customers to quote, order, and manage event specific materials
  • Troubleshoot potential issues to ensure the customer’s success at their event
  • Help develop and improve upon internal processes specific to managing virtual, onsite, and hybrid projects
  • Identify and define product improvements and enhancements as they pertain to client needs and overall deployment
  • Configure event specific technology throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage the event-day implementation team
  • Work with finance on reconciling projects
  • Travel within this role will vary based on the type of event projects being managed – approximately 40% travel
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Here's What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Cvent Advanced Certification highly preferred
  • Audio Visual and Production experience recommended
  • Basic networking knowledge is an asset
  • Experience with event planning, project management or customer success
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Qualified applicants must be able to lift at least 50 pounds such as large boxes, printers, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to ensure event execution success
  • Ability to work within a team to achieve goals
  • Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity
  • Excel at developing relationships over the phone, email and in person
  • Strong understanding of the onsite event management experience
  • Able to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Jira/Confluence and Salesforce.com or similar contact management software
