As the Ordering Manager, India, you will lead Cvent’s India based Order Management team that supports our global onsite event operations. You will own how orders are captured, validated, entered, changed, and tracked across systems, ensuring that every onsite event order is accurate, fulfilled on time, and fully auditable. This role sits at the center of our global event delivery model. You will work closely with Professional Services, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Finance, and supplier partners to ensure that event orders, change requests, and escalations are handled consistently and efficiently. You will directly manage the India based Order Management Team Lead and provide leadership, coaching, and structure for the broader team.

Beyond day-to-day execution, you will design and continuously improve the order management workflow, including templates, system configuration, reporting, and process documentation. You will be responsible for driving a culture of accountability, data quality, and continuous improvement within the India team, while staying tightly aligned with global standards and strategy. This is a senior leadership position that requires strong operational judgment, comfort with data and systems, and the ability to influence stakeholders across regions and time zones.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Global Order Management Leadership: Lead the India based Order Management team that supports global onsite events, ensuring accurate, timely, and complete order handling from intake through fulfillment and reconciliation. Translate global ordering standards and policies into clear expectations, workflows, and quality checks for the India team.

  • System Design & Maintenance: Partner with internal systems teams to design, maintain, and improve order management workflows across IntelliEvent, Salesforce, and related tools. Ensure that templates, fields, automation rules, and reports support accurate data capture and efficient execution by the India team.

  • Vendor Coordination & Purchase Oversight: Oversee the creation and tracking of purchase requests related to onsite events, ensuring alignment between orders, supplier lead times, and inbound schedules for Cvent warehouses. Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and suppliers to avoid stockouts and last-minute emergency purchases whenever possible.

  • Escalation & Support Oversight: Own the order support and escalation workflow for India, including Slack based support channels, issue trackers, and change request queues. Ensure that urgent issues are triaged quickly, assigned clearly, and resolved in a way that protects event quality and client expectations.

  • Performance Management & Reporting: Develop and maintain order performance dashboards tracking KPIs such as order accuracy, processing time, backlog volume, and SLA adherence. Regularly communicate results and trends to senior leadership.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor the India based Team Lead and Order Coordinators, providing coaching, feedback, and clear development plans. Ensure that staffing, scheduling, and cross training support peak periods and global coverage while maintaining a sustainable workload for the team.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key operational partner to Professional Services, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Supplier Management, and Finance. Participate in project calls and working sessions to shape how new products, pricing models, and delivery approaches are translated into practical order workflows.

  • Process Improvement & Standardization: Continuously evaluate and refine global order workflows to reduce friction, eliminate errors, and enhance scalability. Maintain all supporting SOPs and process documentation for transparency and training.

  • Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure all order and vendor data is accurately maintained and auditable across systems. Enforce standards for recordkeeping, change tracking, and reconciliation between systems of record.

  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term operational planning by identifying opportunities for automation, vendor consolidation, and process simplification to improve overall speed and accuracy of order fulfillment.
