Cvent is looking for a full-time college student to support our Meetings & Events Team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations and support the Meetings & Events Team as a whole.We are looking for a career driven individual that is ultimately looking for a full-time job in Marketing.The candidate must be able to learn quickly, think on their feet and take initiative to assist the Meetings & Events Team. This internship is a great way to gain experience in a fast-paced business environment with an extremely reputable company.

In This Role, You Will:

Role Overview

As our Meetings & Events Intern, you’ll support Cvent’s Meetings & Events Team in the day-to-day planning and execution of key programs across hosted conferences, internal events, tradeshows, and seminars. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced business environment, working closely with event professionals, marketers, and cross-functional stakeholders while learning how enterprise-level events come to life.

This is a paid internship. Cvent will partner with your school to complete any required documentation for academic credit, and—assuming strong performance—can provide recommendation letters to support your future career opportunities.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • · Support the Meetings & Events Team with planning tasks for Cvent’s flagship conference, Cvent CONNECT, including speaker management, session logistics, and attendee experience support.
  • · Assist with the coordination and execution of internal company events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person), such as companywide programs, department initiatives, and team morale events.
  • · Contribute to event operations projects, including process improvements, basic automation tasks, and inventory/asset management for event materials.
  • · Help organize event technology logistics for select programs, including registration setup, attendee tracking, basic video/streaming support, reporting, and pre-/post-event evaluations.
  • · Review and process daily invoices, assist with expense tracking, and support reconciliation for event budgets.
  • · Support tradeshow and seminar logistics such as calendar coordination, shipping of event materials, and tracking of deliveries and returns.
  • · Provide general administrative support for the Meetings & Events Team, including documentation, scheduling, and other ad-hoc operational tasks as needed.

Here's What You Need:

  • · Proactive, driven, and detail-oriented, with a strong interest in event planning and marketing as a career path.
  • · Comfort with virtual experiences (e.g., webinars or streamed sessions) and curiosity about hybrid event formats.
  • · Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools and processes; prior experience with event or marketing platforms is a plus.
  • · A creative eye and the ability to think outside the box when supporting event experiences and attendee engagement.
  • · Professional verbal and written communication skills, with a polished phone, video, and email presence.
  • · Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom.
  • · Prior office, campus leadership, or event-related experience preferred but not required.
  • · Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus in marketing, hospitality, communications, business, or a related field, and in good academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred).
