We are seeking a strategic, influential, and operations-minded Senior Manager, Sourcing & Housing Solutions to lead the growth, retention, and expansion of a portfolio of mid-market to enterprise clients. This role is responsible for shaping the client strategy, driving long-term account value, and overseeing cross-functional engagement to ensure our Venue Sourcing customers achieve measurable business outcomes.
You will serve as the executive point of contact for high-value accounts, guiding them through product adoption, global expansion, and optimization of Cvent’s Sourcing & Housing solutions. This role will develop account growth strategies, lead renewal and upsell cycles, advocate for customer needs internally, and contribute to long-term product and commercial strategy.
This position requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, inspire internal teams, and build deep relationships with senior client stakeholders while driving significant revenue impact.
In This Role, You Will:
- Drive a lively and resilient entrepreneurial culture adept at navigating change
- Rapidly build and manage a metrics-driven, customer-focused, consultative sales organization
- Guide, coach and mentor salespeople within the sales team
- Facilitate successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring sufficient process is in place; foster an organization of continuous improvement
- Oversee, implement, and manage accurate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes
- Monitor data capture and use of reporting tools to track performance, while providing accurate and timely management reports on team metrics
- Evaluate existing sales compensation structure and define proposed changes to improve company and individual performance; establish a strong performance management culture
- Provide leadership through innovation, collaborating with sales, marketing, and technology leadership to identify key market opportunities and growth areas within the sector and ensure optimal support of sales activity
- Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies and competitors
- Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas, balancing short-term efforts and long-term, maintaining success of core products while developing new revenue streams
- Represent Cvent at industry events and client meetings, support the sales team in developing executive-level relationships and negotiating large deals
Here's What You Need:
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
- 5-10 years in hospitality sales, particularly group sales/MICE space
- Knowledge of Cvent strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in account management, customer success, or strategic consulting within SaaS, hospitality, travel, or event management industries.
- Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level accounts and multi-million-dollar portfolios.
- Strong professional presence with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, leading negotiation cycles, and directing account strategy.
- Deep understanding of solution selling, customer lifecycle management, and cross-functional leadership.
- Highly analytical, with experience generating strategic insights from customer and market data.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office; strong comfort with SaaS ecosystems and business applications
