About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, execution-focused transformation leader ready to shape the future of how Cvent operates. You will be at the center of our AI-powered transformation—defining the roadmap, championing adoption of AI-enabled solutions, and delivering high-impact change across the enterprise. You will partner with senior stakeholders to assess the current state, define the path forward, and lead the shift to smarter, more intelligent ways of working across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and beyond.

As Cvent continues to lead the global meetings and events industry, our Business Transformation team is the engine behind scaling smarter, faster, and more efficiently. In this role, you will own strategic roadmaps and lead complex initiatives spanning process re-engineering, business case development, vendor selection, operating model design, and system implementation. You will champion project management discipline and ensure delivery is on time, on budget, and tied to clear business outcomes.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Shape strategic priorities and transformation roadmaps across business functions, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Lead large-scale transformation programs spanning process redesign, AI-enabled solutions, operating model changes, and business systems
  • Assess current-state processes, systems, controls, and pain points to identify opportunities for measurable improvement
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define target operating models, business cases, and investment priorities
  • Design and implement solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, compliance, scalability, and user experience
  • Evaluate and support adoption of new technologies, including cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and AI-based solutions
  • Own project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, status reporting, and executive-level communications
  • Drive change management, training, and adoption plans to ensure new processes and systems stick
  • Facilitate cross-functional requirements gathering, solution design, and vendor or consultant coordination

Here's What You Need:

  • 13–17+ years of experience leading digital transformation, AI-led initiatives, strategic programs, or enterprise process improvement
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, and translate strategy into execution
  • Track record of delivering cross-functional transformation programs with measurable business outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, analytical, and business case development skills
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, systems analysis, requirements gathering, and operating model design
  • Excellent communication, executive presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and works effectively with high-performing teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field required; Master's in Business Administration a plus
  • Experience with enterprise software implementation (including Salesforce and Oracle Financials) and project management; familiarity with SDLC, PMI, and/or Agile methodologies across on-premise, cloud, and SaaS environments
  • Comfort using AI tools and a desire to integrate AI into daily work to improve productivity and outcomes desired
  • PMP certification desirable but not required
  • Management consulting, SaaS, or enterprise transformation experience is a plus
