Cvent is seeking a bright, goal-oriented, high energy and hardworking individual to fill our Payroll Analyst II position for our Dallas, TX office. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, management, and direction of the employee payroll function. This is a fast-paced environment with an opportunity to grow your professional accounting skills. This position reports to our Director of Payroll.


In This Role, You Will:

  • Follow all process and procedures to ensure payroll are process accurately and timely;
  • Assist with the preparation of reports summarizing payroll, profit sharing, deductions, and withholding;
  • Provide specialized payroll and deduction information and assistance as required. Ensure compliance with all applicable government and regulatory laws, regulations and requirements;
  • Research variances regarding past pay cycles, lien or tax garnishment documentation, legal inquiries and audit questions or concerns;
  • Ensure the reconciliation and analysis of related balance sheet accounts, inventory accounts, ledgers, and journals;
  • Participate in the implementation of new and revised payroll reporting and analysis systems, and department policies and procedures;
  • Support the coordination of payroll functions with other departments such as Accounting, Data Processing, and Human Resources
  • Payroll GL creation

Here's What You Need:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Intermediate level Excel
  • 6+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Payroll systems experience (ADP Workforce Now & Streamline)
  • Experience using Workday is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service skills
