What we’re looking for
You are an expert in Swedish immigration law with a proven track record of executing visa and work permit applications with precision and efficiency.
We'd love it if you have hands-on experience managing relocations across the US and UK markets.
You have deep knowledge of international employment tax implications, including social security obligations, tax equalization considerations, and cross-border employment structures.
You can independently navigate complex regulatory environments, balancing strict legal compliance with individual employee needs - you are the expert, not just a coordinator.
You are a builder who designs inclusive policies and structured frameworks from scratch, bringing best practices in-house rather than outsourcing them.
You excel at providing steady, empathetic guidance and clear communication to employees and their families through high-stakes life transitions.
You are passionate about community building and creating welcoming environments where new arrivals feel supported and connected.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all family configurations, including domestic partners and non-traditional units.
What you’ll do
In one sentence: You will be Lovable's in-house immigration and relocation expert, directly executing the processes that allow us to hire the best talent regardless of their background or location.
Personally manage the entire immigration lifecycle - from initial assessments through work permits to permanent residency applications - as the subject matter expert.
Navigate Swedish, UK, and US immigration systems with efficiency and precision, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations and requirements.
Advise on and structure international employment arrangements to optimize tax positions, understanding implications across personal income tax, employer tax obligations, social security treaties, and tax equalization scenarios.
Design and deliver a world-class relocation experience that provides employees and their families with clear guidance on housing, schooling, healthcare, banking, and local integration.
Build and nurture a supportive community for relocating employees - creating resources, facilitating connections, and providing ongoing support beyond the initial move.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and their families (inclusive of all domestic partnerships) throughout their relocation journey, providing reassurance and problem-solving support.
Develop comprehensive onboarding materials and settlement guides that help new arrivals integrate smoothly into their new city and culture.
Proactively monitor global immigration landscapes and tax policy changes to ensure our processes remain effective, compliant, and competitive.
Bring global mobility expertise in-house, reducing our reliance on external vendors while maintaining strategic relationships where needed.
