Frontend Developer

Location: Kolkata

Role Overview: Mihup is looking for a Frontend Developer to join our Tech Team. We need someone who is innovative and has a strong business acumen and is good at problem-solving. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, creative, and detail oriented with experience/willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have strong understanding and experience of SaaS product delivery function and proven experience of end to end delivery management.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following –

• Implement responsible web design principles to ensure that our product renders well across multiple devices
• Review and plan future upgrades with the development team
• Create quality mockups and prototypes
• Collaborate with back-end developers and designers to improve usability
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Monitor website performance, watchout for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues

Requirements (what we are looking for):

The right person is better than the right set of experiences and these are the traits we’ve identified make great additions to our team.

• At least three years hands-on experience in either of REACT/Angular is a must
• Experience in NodeJS and SQL will be given preference
• Experience in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, REST
• Experience in converting marvelapp, PSDs, etc to HTML/CSS
• Good sense of design and attention to detail
• An ability to perform and adapt well in a fast-paced environment

Key Skills:

• BE/BS/BTech in Computer Science or a related field from a Tier I or Tier II University.
• 3-6 years of hands-on software development and deployment experience (experience of working in a consumer product startup during its growth phase will be a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail.
