About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer focused Inside Sales professional to drive business growth in the Indian automotive industry. The role involves engaging with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, dealerships, and ecosystem partners to generate leads, manage customer relationships, support business development activities, and accelerate revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, understanding of the automotive ecosystem, and the ability to work closely with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consistently meet or exceed revenue, order and pipeline creation targets and sales KPIs.
• Generate and qualify leads across automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and mobility ecosystem partners.
• Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and digital channels.
• Support the field sales team in identifying new business opportunities and customer engagement.
• Schedule meetings, product demos, and technical discussions with prospective customers.
• Maintain and manage CRM data including pipeline tracking, lead status, and sales forecasting.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to prepare customer presentations and proposals.
• Understand customer requirements and position suitable automotive technology solutions.
• Build strong relationships with purchasing teams, program managers, and engineering stakeholders.
• Support RFQ/RFI processes and follow-up activities.
• Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in connected vehicles, infotainment, telematics, ADAS, EVs, and software-defined vehicles.
• Participate in automotive events, webinars, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Drive customer follow-ups to improve conversion rates and business closures.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or sales support within the automotive or related technology industry.
• Good understanding of the Indian automotive ecosystem including OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer interactions and prioritize opportunities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
• Exposure to automotive electronics, embedded systems, software, AI, voice recognition, telematics, or mobility solutions is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and sales reporting.
