The Procurement Operations Analyst will be responsible for executing the procurement processes and managing systems within the customer organization.
This role involves analyzing procurement data, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities
2. Contract Management
- Upload contracts to the procurement system or contract repository
- Extract metadata and maintain contract repository
3. Supplier Management
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and develop strategies for supplier improvement
4. Cost Management
- Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives in the procurement process
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
5. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process
6. Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with customer cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensure alignment and support for procurement activities
- Communicate procurement strategies and initiatives to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
7. Technology Utilization
- Leverage procurement software and tools to enhance data management and process efficiency
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in procurement to recommend and implement new solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., Ariba, Zip, Coupa)
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel)
