About the role:

We’re looking for a product-minded Software Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to help build, scale, and improve our core product at Spendflo. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to ship features that users love - with quality, speed, and ownership.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build backend services and frontend components for new product features

  • Work with product and design to scope and ship user-facing features

  • Write clean, testable, and scalable code across the stack

  • Review code, write documentation, and contribute to team knowledge sharing

  • Debug production issues and participate in regular release cycles

  • Learn and grow alongside senior engineers and engineering leads

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-4 years of experience building web applications using modern frameworks

  • Solid foundation in at least one backend language (Node.js, TypeScript, Java)

  • Experience with REST APIs, databases (MongoDB/PostgreSQL), and basic cloud services (AWS/GCP)

  • Exposure to frontend frameworks (React preferred)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Curiosity to learn, willingness to take feedback, and a collaborative mindset

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in a fast-paced product company or startup

  • Exposure to CI/CD, observability, or DevOps workflows

  • Familiarity with micro services or event-driven systems
