YOUR IMPACT

As a Manager, Software Engineering you are responsible for guiding development team(s) working on small to medium scale project. The person will be responsible for project management, as well as people management. The person must have strong technical background in full stack .NET development, C#,asp.net,asp.net mvc, sql server expertise, jquery, javascript and optionally in C++ or Java/ JEE. Building and consuming webservices (using RESTful APIs) C++,Java and Web UI technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script).

  • Help team achieve sprint/release goals on time, budget and agreed quality standards
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure plans & resources are coordinated
  • Good technical hands-on skills in full stack .NET development, C#,asp.net,asp.net mvc, sql server expertise, jquery, javascript and optionally in C++ or Java/ JEE.
  • Building and consuming webservices (using RESTful APIs) and Web UI technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script)
  • Facilitate project activities such as planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to drive project goals
  • Provide guidance, technical feedback to team and ensure team is able to achieve its goal
  • Provide visibility to team impediments/risks and helps to eliminate them
  • Ensure appropriate and timely reporting about issues and success
  • Ensure team members development and career growth with appropriate and timely feedback
  • Inspire the team members to be innovative and improve things
  • Be part of organization-wide initiatives and drive the change

What You Need To Succeed

  • Minimum BE CS or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of industry engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a people management or project management position
  • Must have hands on experience in full stack .NET development, C#,asp.net,asp.net mvc, sql server expertise, jquery, javascript and optionally in C++ or Java/ JEE.
  • Building and consuming webservices (using RESTful APIs) and Web UI technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script).
  • Proven track record of successful project/program management of mid to large size projects
  • Agile project management training and experience is an added advantage. (optional)
  • Responsive design and Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency with Web Services, SOAP, WSDL and XML, XML Schema and XPath . Node.JS, Angular or any JS framework.
  • Middleware/Application Servers and Infrastructure and strong experience in databases
  • Strong hands-on experience with building enterprise applications
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our agile development processes
  • Experience liaising with groups of people across several geographies
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
