The Opportunity:

The Lead Developer is an individual contributor with a strong technical background in low-code development, with a proven track record of leading projects and teams. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining low-code applications, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.Download and Use

You are great at:

  • Lead and oversee a team of Low-code developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices within the team.
  • Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to plan and execute projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather and refine project requirements
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain low-code applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
  • Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, and procedures as needed for application functionality.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications are accessible on various devices.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including business analysts, designers, and other developers to identify new features.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues as they arise.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in low-code development.
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing applications and development processes.
  • Evaluate the products from an architecture/ design perspective & propose the most efficient solutions.
  • Build prototypes for the proposed solutions & provide technical leadership to the teams in designing & implementing the solutions.

What it takes:

  • Educational Requirement: Computer Science degree/other technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • At least 8 years of working experience as an IT professional
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java or .Net, XML, SOAP, JSON, SQL, and Web Services
  • Expertise with implementation of SOAP and REST API services
  • Experience in various Operating Systems like Linux, and Windows
  • Should be able to work with the scrum agile methodology
  • Should be able to quickly understand the requirements and translate that in the technical design
  • Experience in supporting AppWorks on premises version 16.x. and cloud version 20.x. is a plus
  • Experience in the following OpenText products is a plus - Core Archive for SAP Solutions, Core Capture, Core Content, Documentum, Extended ECM, InfoArchive
  • Very good logical thinking & quick at learning & exploring new frameworks
  • Strong Customer focus, customer satisfaction oriented
  • Quick learner and able to retain a broad range of information in a rapid and complex technical environment
  • Excellent Teamwork/Collaboration skills: Inspires and motivates others toward goal accomplishments; develops and sustains cooperative working relationships
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently
  • Must have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill
  • Must be willing to be on-call beyond normal working hours and on weekends
  • Must be willing to work on shifts (can be ASPAC, EMEA or US)
