The Opportunity:

Inside Sales Executives are responsible for selling and presenting Open Text’s products using Sales Plays to current and net-new prospective enterprise accounts. They carry their own quotas but by design work with other regional sales representative partners on Opportunities and are the engine room of OpenText's sales organisation.

The overall purpose of this Inside Sales Executives role at OpenText is to help customers use information to grow faster and be more efficient in an increasingly Digital World. The role is part of a global team of highly skilled and entrepreneurial professionals who understand that their customers are experiencing unprecedented change.

The Inside Sales Executive will drive our industry trusted OpenText product line, focusing on our Enterprise Solutions. The Inside Sales Executive will help customers to transform and evolve their business by providing the right solution to positively impact the business and improve their most important business processes.

This role does not normally require travel. It uses today’s world sales technology tools to meet customers, set meeting and have virtual Face to Face relationships with customers. The world has changed, and this model has been truly accepted by our customers that are leaders.

You are great at:

  • Responsibility to develop new business in assigned territory, Territory Sales Executive.
  • Prospecting and identify key decision makers within the targeted accounts using a prescribed sales methodology. Access territory, identify top prospects, determine white space, account storyboard, terrain maps of employees, to develop a quota fulfilment plan.
  • Building and fostering new relationships to drive sales directly.
  • Working with internal partners that support the SAP Ecosystem and the SAP AE’s that are working with mutual Open Text and SAP prospects.
  • Providing a strong business justification to end-users, while ensuring that the given annual quota is met and exceeded.
  • Leading as the point of contact, and more importantly sell and collaborate effectively with new and existing customers.
  • Creative solution-oriented individual that can easily identify potential and growth opportunities that others might miss.
  • Work collaboratively with SAP Partners selling into their customer base.
  • Work Collaboratively with Open Text Resellers, and Implementation partner community.
  • Use software technology tools to drive your sales objectives.
  • Flexing your creative muscles and exploring new challenges and opportunities.
  • Thrive in a challenging ecosystem and lifelong learner who possess a strong desire to achieve.
  • Mentored by industry leaders who are passionate and authentic about sharing their experiences.

WHAT IT TAKES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or trained in the Sales Profession
  • History working with Open Text ECM solutions solving business problems
  • Thrive on being able to identify opportunities through analysis of OpenText’s client base as well as potential new business and market drivers.
  • 5 plus years existing experience in software sales, ideally in a large corporate organisation.
  • Ability to quickly learn and become an expert on a new set of products.
  • Understanding of strategic, tactical and consultative selling process
  • You are clear, articulate and confident in all forms of communication.
  • Ability to reward, recognize and inspire your peers.
