Your Impact:

Lead Software Engineer with passion for technology and hands-on experience in software design and development. In this role you will work with cross-functional teams to lead multiple agendas, be responsible for all stages of design and development for products and platforms.

What the role offers:

  • Lead multiple agendas, responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding along with performance, scalability and integration.
  • Design and integrate software applications running on multiple platform types into overall architecture and product suite.
  • Be the go-to person in the team for the most complex, hard-to-solve technical challenges.
  • Understand the high-level requirements from the product manager and transform it to themes and features requirements for the development team.
  • Develop requirements docs to describe the requirement, architecture, APIs, etc.
  • Review and ensure the developers breakdown of features into User stories is sufficient and cover all points.
  • Lead and drive feature and functional discussions with customers, product manager and R&D team.
  • Be involved in the day-to-day architecture discussions, analyzing optimal approaches to solutions and guiding and mentoring other engineers in the team.

What you need to succeed:

  • Extensive experience on Core Java with exposure to multiple software applications design tools and languages. Knowledge of scripting, GoLang, Python would be an advantage.
  • Extensive exposure to technologies like Spring, AngularJS, HTML5, WebServices, JAXB, Tomcat.
  • Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages – Java, Unix/Linux, Win API, monitoring, system performance and application performance tuning.
  • Good knowledge on micro-service based architectures and exposure to SpringBoot, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent debugging skills on Windows a nd Linux with experience in using tools like WireShark, Static/Dynamic scanners
  • Excellent understanding of product security requirements and approaches to build secure software. Hands-on experience in analyzing and resolving security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in overall architecture of software applications for products and solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across stakeholders at all levels

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 8 years minimum of related experience
